Multiplexes two separate SONET optical transmissions of differing wavelengths (one 1310 nm, one 1550 nm) onto a single fiber, or de-multiplexes two wavelengths received on a single fiber onto individual fibers supporting the 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths

Can be used in Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) applications on a variety of ADTRAN optical platforms
