The remarkable Algo 8189-IC InformaCast IP Surface Mount Ceiling Speaker is a self-amplified PoE device identical to the 8188 SIP Ceiling Speaker, but, it is for indoor surface mount ceiling or wall applications required for voice paging, emergency alerting and playing music, a fully compliant 3rd party SIP endpoint makes it compatible with most hosted / cloud and premise-based VoIP telephone systems.
