The DT820CG is software licenses controlled to allow for activation /deactivation of hardware functions. The hardware option can be added at time of purchase and or installed on the device after it has been in operation in the field for a period of time. The Extended 16 and 32 Line Key enhancement licenses is available via software licenses.
