The TP-POE-48 Power over Ethernet Power (PoE Injector), Source from Tycon Power, delivers a reliable midspan power solution designed for consistent performance even in the toughest conditions. It accepts data-in through a shielded RJ45 jack and then provides surge-protected data-out and power on the shielded RJ45 output jack. By supplying power to the remote device on unused Ethernet pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-), this unit ensures a seamless connection. For the “R” model, the voltage is reversed to 4,5 (V-) and 7,8 (V+), allowing flexibility in different setups. Additionally, the Ethernet specification supports distances up to 100m (328 feet), ensuring wide compatibility.
